Berkeley builds homes and communities. Our Vision for Broadwater Farm is to create a beautiful, landscape-led place which the whole community can be proud of and homes that will allow residents to enjoy a fantastic quality of life.
Berkeley has assembled a project team to design a masterplan for the site and prepare a planning application for the development of up to 900 new homes, land for a primary and secondary school, potential medical centre and associated infrastructure.

This comprehensive team of specialist consultants are in the process of providing a detailed assessment of the site and preparing design proposals. The technical work undertaken to date has enabled the team to produce a Masterplan to illustrate how the site could be developed to create a high-quality sustainable new residential-led development.
It is envisaged that an outline planning application will be submitted to Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council in Q4 2020.
Berkeley is committed to ongoing engagement and collaborative working with Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council, Kent County Council, local parish councils and the wider community to deliver comprehensive development of the site in line with Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council's emerging Local Plan.
